Absolutely delicious and tasty. They are open on Wednesday.
Thai Smile is closed on Mondays.
The food is constantly well prepared and tasty, cashiers hands out awesome service. I really like how clean it is and character. I highly recommend this place.
Enjoy your favorite dish here. The chef makes great appetizers and main dishes. Even tofu is made well and enjoyable. Panang is just right. Nothing special, but just good food. The table service is slow. Other than that, you must ask for spicy hot if you want it. They can provide any level of heat.
I ordered a tomar curry through doordash but once I saw what it was I realized I didn’t like it. I called to see if I could get it replaced and they happily replaced it with the red curry which was delicious. Thank you !
Yellow curry was good. The pad Thai is pink... and not good. ** Photo taken after I mixed in garlic chili sauce. It was dry, like they forgot to put in the sauce... Also, barely any chopped onions and fix-ins (bean sprouts, peanuts, etc). I like my pad Thai on the saucier side so it made it doubly disappointing. I know people are trying to make a living, so I'll givem another shot!
Always fresh, friendly and phenomenal. I’ve had Thai all over Chicago. This is my favorite. The basil chicken is fabulous, as are the Vietnamese spring rolls, and the Pepper Steak. Pad Thai is yummy, and curries are all great.
I’ve been here several times. It is an amazing little restaurant. The service is very quick and good! Food is exquisite. I’ve had their Thai tea and it was also delicious. I would 100% recommend it. This is THE place I take family members that are visiting and I pick for my birthday!
Best Thai I've had since I was in San Diego. Many dishes I want to try. I will return soon.
Clean, friendly and quiet in a Tuesday evening. Waitress was nice and service was very good. The Thai veg. Egg rolls were amazing. Entrees were spicy, but not crazy hot. Flavors were very good. I've had some slightly better Thai, but Thai Smile is a winner.
Good for take out I like the Shrimp Pad Thai. Decent customer service.
I eat thai every chance I get and thai smile is my absolute favorite.
Love Thai and this is one of my favorites. Great food, very friendly people. It's BYOB, so you can have your favorite beverage with dinner at about half the price.
This place knows how to serve their customers. Regularly with a very kind demeanor. The food is fairly priced, constantly delicious and neat.
Cozy. Good, healthy food. BYOB. Owners are so nice.
I ordered a noodle with shrimp and beef. I asked for it to be a little spicy, she said medium. I said ok, anyways, she said 15-20min.I get there in 15 min and get a bowl full noodles, 3 pieces of shrimp, a few pieces of beef. Anyways it wasn’t warm, I got less then I expected, and the shrimp/beef wasn’t fully cooked. It came out to $14.15 I gave her 15$ and to keep the change. Honestly never going back.
Best Thai food ever! Such a hidden gem! Great service and amazing food!
The vietnamese spring rolls are the best at this restaurant.
Pineapple Chicken Curry was super!
This has been my go-to Thai place for over ten years always a great treat!
Delicious tofu panang and very quick, courteous service! Cannot wait to order from them again!
I would have rated at 2 but the tum yum soup was good. My husband and I ordered Pad Thai it was like refried noodles without any spices. Perhaps the most plain tasting noodles I've ever tried. They also forgot my peanut sauce. Vietnamese spring rolls we're also at best mediocre.
Great food! Always have leftovers
Top thai in the south suburbs! The shrimp with lobster sauce was perfect! Crazy noodles with squid, Awesome! Huge menu. Definitely a mandatory stop when in the neighborhood.
The BEST Thai food I have had out of about 3 dozen chicagoland Thai restaurants I have visited. For an appetizer, try the fried tofu, spring rolls, shrimp & vegetable tempura. Then move on to the pad see eiw.Share a bottle of Reisling, Moscato, or some citrusy pale ale or IPA. Unbeatable.
I was there for a late lunch/early dinner, unbelievably the place was empty. This place needs to be put on the map. The food is Soo good, the server was very kind, I strongly recommend this place. No alcohol is served here.
I enjoyed the food very much. Egg rolls were delicious and fresh.
Absolutely the best service to here!! Food is delicious.
Best Thai in the neighborhood! Great service. Although, closed on Mondays but other than that great food!
Great service very good food
Thai Smile is one of those little hidden jems that you wish you would have discovered long before. The Service, atmosphere, and most importantly food all are stellar.Don is a culinary genius, his food has complex flavors and you can taste all the different notes of whatever you eat. His food explodes in your mouth with flavor. It's very obvious he crafts his recipes with years of experience and the love for cooking. It's like going on a culinary vacation through Thailand. You will definitely smile after eating at Thai Smile!
Food was very good and desserts were delicious. Service was a little slow with one person running the restaurant, worth a visit.
We were the only people in the place for lunch hour. And it took a long time to get our food. The crab Rangoon literally had nothing in it, a very light layer of stuff inside. Our lunch entrees were good, but overall place wasn't staffed and it's lunch and took too long.
Been to Thailand so this is where I go for good Thai food. Chicken boot stickers are wonderful.
Great food at decent prices. Friendly staff and quick service.
Consistently good food and friendly service. Been at this location for at least 10+ years and for good reason.
I liked it. The food 🍲 was cooked fresh and it was piping hot ♨ when I sat down to eat an hour after taking the food 🍲 home. The lady @ the front taking my order was very, very nice. This was my first visit, I'll need to revisit for 5 stars ✨.
good food n service
Have been coming to this restaurant for at least the last five years. In all that time have never been disappointed. Tried almost everything on the menu. Their sweet and sour chicken is wonderful. And the prices are so reasonable.
Yesterday was the first time we visited this magnificent restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the excellent service, with the fine dishes and wine and with the decent pay. We will absolutely visit there soon.
Love this little local treasure. Good food, good prices, and the owner and waitress is nice. My favorite is curry, pad Woon Sen, and pot stickers.
Always have a great experience, food is very good and service is prompt.
Nice cozy place for thai food. We like that it is a BYOB but they don't have wine glasses and you would have to drink from a small water glass. So we brought our own. Good food, reasonable prices.
Delicious get here and try it.
We felt this was a fairly priced restaurant. We received polished service and enjoyed our dinner. My pad thai had just the right amount of sweetness.
Great times with friends - low key atmosphere and with the BYOB, low cost.
Quiet....good food....
This place is absolutely amazing. We used to order lunch from here all the time at work, but hadn't ordered in several months since we were trying to cut back on ordering out and there's also another Thai place that in walking distance of our store. Well today we ordered from Thai Smile as a treat, and of course the food was fantastic (as per usual), but the lady taking my order remembered my weird special orders! Then, right before we went to pick it up, I remembered that they had brown rice, which I prefer to white rice, but most places don't have it or charge like $2 extra for it (which I think is ridiculous). I was annoyed I forgot to ask for it when I ordered, but it was too late to call. Well, when I sat down to eat and opened my rice-it was brown rice! They remembered me and went out of their way for us! Talk about amazing customer service! Plus, the inside of the restaurant is super cute. I definitely recommend checking them out (plus their tofu mussaman curry is the best)!
I've visited countless Thai restaurants around the country and this place is still my favorite. I suggest: Vietnamese spring rolls, all curries, Tomkar and the garlic entree. Their iced coffee is also great!
This has been one of my favorite restaurants sice high school, but I hadn't been going much until the last couple of years. My boyfriend and I are now regulars to the point that we don't get menus (don't change our order), Bo (spelling?) automatically brings me warm water, and she even knows who we are half way through a phone order <3 It's unassuming from the outside, but so, so good.
Very neat and welcoming restaurant. They serve large meals and for inexpensive prices. I loved the menu very much and the staff members were super welcoming and chatty. Will definitely recommend this spot.
What a wonderful surprise to stumble upon this hidden gem! Definitely very cozy but the servers are so nice and literally running to attend to all the tables so it must mean they are very busy and therefore, doing something right! This definitely hit the spot for my craving for Thai food, very modestly priced too!
